My wife is close friends with one of our neighbors. It’s strange because when I tried to befriend him, he didn’t seem interested even when I invited him to hang out at a local kafunda in our area but when it’s my wife, he hangs out with her and they even have lunch sometimes together.

He is not married but has a girlfriend who occasionally comes over.

When I raised this issue with my wife, she said they were just good friends and occasionally hang out since they work in the same sector which is banking.

I don’t want to sound insecure but why is the guy only comfortable being friends with my wife? Aren’t those characteristics of people who want to steal your wife? Should I tell my wife to stop being friends with him or start offering to go with them whenever they are hanging out?
