I’ve been dating a man who has a child from his past marriage.

When I met him, he assured me that the relationship he had with his ex wife was done and they were just raising the child now.

I believed him and continued to date him but I recently found out that he never divorced his ex wife and has been lying about it.

On top of that, the woman goes around telling people that they are still together.

When I confronted him, he admitted to lying about the divorce mbu he thought that would scare me away and yet he didn’t want to lose me.

He left his marital house over a year ago and that he only sees her when he goes to visit the child. He says that the woman is lying and they are not together.

I’m having a hard time believing him. What should I do? Should I demand some evidence that they are not together.
