For years, there was a lot of violence in our house and this led to our parents separating..

My dad used to drink too much and then beat us and our mother.

Years later, Mzee has stopped drinking and he is sickly and homeless, he wants to come back to his marital home since he built it..

Our mother is willing to get him back and has even rejected us renting her a house, but i and my siblings don’t think its a good idea..
