My name is Arthur, I have a simple problem with my girlfriend. I dated this girl when I was still abroad and we agreed that when I come back to Uganda, I will go to her parents and make an introduction and she accepted.

I told her if she is ready with my request, let us go into a serious relationship.

In November last year, I returned to Uganda and I was preparing to visit her parents in January and do an introduction in March but out of the blue, she told me she also wants a wedding if not then no relationship.

I asked her why she wasted my time because I told her what I can do before starting this relationship with her.

I tried to explain to her that I need to start a business, do introduction but wedding needs a lot of money which right now I don’t have she refused.

So what can I do because it’s like her parents are also supporting her decision but they are not ready to contribute anything.

I have decided to phase the relationship and focus on other things while looking for someone who is ready to move on with me.

Was this the best decision?? Or l need to first leave dating alone ?
